Publisher's Description:
Dial-up Password Recovery Master - Dial-up Password Recovery Master is a dependable password recovery solution for network and dial-up connections. Most networks use authentication and authorization to allow or deny access to the Internet, network or other computers. This means there are tens, hundreds or even thousands of logins and passwords a system administrator has to keep track of. What happens when these passwords get forgotten or lost? How can one recover his or her Dial-Up password or a network logon password? Dial-Up Password Recovery Master provides an easy solution to this problem. The program recovers logins and passwords for LAN, Internet and network access (including modem connections, ISDN lines, virtual private networks). In addition, this software application provides users with information about network connection properties, such as connection names, types, phone numbers or IP-addresses. The program stores all this information handy and conveniently in one place. This data can be copied to clipboard or exported to a text file. Dial-Up Password Recovery Master is also the only program that works for both non-network Windows (9x and ME) and network Windows (NT, 2000, XP).
Latest Changes:
Password protection of the program execution added. Windows XP visual styles support. Some internal bugs fixed.

Dial-up Password Recovery Master Worked
I was working on a relatives PC. They forgot their ISP login password. They only use dial up access. The user login name was still associated with the Dial Up connection, but of course the password is hidden. I did a Google search for a solution and Dial-up Password Recovery Master looked like a likely candidate to help. So I downloaded it, and installed it. It installs an evaluation version, and will show you any passwords less the 4 characters long. For longer passwords, you need to register the program. Lucky me! The password I needed was right there, since it was only 3 characters long! This app was simple to install and simple to use. If the password had been longer, I would have registered the app. But since I don't expect to ever need this again, and the eval version did what I needed, I guess I won't register. In the unlikely event that I do need to use this in the future, and I run across a "real" password, I wouldn't hesitate to buy and register this program. Recommended!
